Athletic Department Event Staff Positions:

 

Game Manager – responsible for game organization, including, but not limited to signing in event staff, welcoming visiting teams, field setup and cleanup, crowd control. 

 

Scoreboard Operator – responsible for operating the scoreboard.  Knowledge of game rules and timing is needed.

 

Scorekeeper – responsible for official game scorekeeping and stats. 

 

Ticket Staff – responsible for the game day ticket sales, collecting money, providing change and following ticket sales guidelines.

 

Announcer – responsible for announcing during games, including starting line-ups, game action and special announcements.

 

Security – responsible for crowd control and event safety at game day events.

 

Field Staff – responsible for event officiating (timing, measuring, results reporting, etc.)

 

The following sports require some or all event staff positions:  Fall Sports - Boys/Girls Soccer, Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football.  Winter Sports - Boys/Girls Basketball, Wrestling.  Spring Sports – Baseball, Softball, Track & Field.
